When you hear that word "excuse", what comes to my mind?

To me, it's when you find a reason or explanation for not getting a thing done.

My question to you today is, What excuses have you put in place to stop you from living out the life God has called you to.

- What if life doesn't work out?

- What if I fail at it?

- What if the business fails?

I can go on and on stating various "What if"s

Joyce Meyer quotes "Commit to stop making excuses. When we make excuses, we lie to ourselves and continue bad habits.

She is someone who truly knows about excuses. For most of her childhood, her father abused her and she never knew what growing up in a safe, secure and loved environment was. As a result, she became an angry, suspicious, critical, judgemental adult.

When she left home at 18, She thought she was leaving her problems behind but came to to realize that there were many problems in her soul because of the abuse she had endued. She said, she found she desperately needed the healing love of God to restore her life.

" The abuse I experienced was the reason I had problems, but I had to stop using it as excuse to stay that way - " parked at the point of my pain"

That tells you, No matter what you've gone through in life, "refuse to be parked at the point of your pain"

You would often hear excuses such as "I don't have enough money to start?

- I was raised without a dad !

- My parents were never there for me!

--- I don't have the know-how

- What If I fail?

It's your choice

You can have excuses or have your dreams but you can"t have both.

You were created for a purpose as stated in Jeremiah 1:5, It's time to live out. "No more excuses"
